Hello!!!
My name is Leahdesa Smith. I am a 1995 honor graduate of Monahans High School. After high school I attended Texas Woman's Univerity in Denton, Texas, where I majored in Criminal Justice. I graduated with honors in 1998 and began working in the Criminal Justice field. After three years, I began looking for a change. I completed a certification program through the Region 18 Service Center and began teaching in August of 2002. I have taught in Monahans for 16 years, and this is my fifth year teaching at the high school. I love to be apart of all the activities and to have a part in the student’s education.
Personally, I have a wonderful and supportive husband named Ken. We have two sons who are grown, out of the house, and married, which has brought us two beautiful daughter-in-laws and two lovely granddaughters. I am the proud mom of a West Texas A&M Buffalo! My daughter will start her first year at WT this fall. I also have two amazing boys at home with me. One is in junior high school, and a little toddler who lights up all of our lives.
