The countdown to graduation is officially on! We have released the comprehensive schedule for senior activities to ensure our students and their families are prepared for this exciting final stretch.

Below is a summary of the key dates, deadlines, and requirements for the remainder of the semester:

🗓️ Upcoming Key Dates

• April 7: Confirmation of attendance for the Senior Trip is due. 

  
  

• April 10: Cap & Gown delivery (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM). 

  
  

• April 11: Junior/Senior Prom at the Ward County Event Center (8:00 PM – 12:00 AM). 

  
  

• May 4: Semester Exam exemption forms will be distributed. 

  
  

• May 5: Senior Awards Ceremony at the MHS Auditorium (6:00 PM). 

  
  

• May 17: Baccalaureate Ceremony, including practice (6:00 PM) and the ceremony (8:00 PM). 

  
  

• May 18: Senior Walk across various campuses starting at 7:45 AM. 

  
  

• May 22: Graduation practice at the Sports Complex (11:00 AM), followed by the Graduation Ceremony (8:00 PM). 

  
  

🚌 Senior Trip Information (May 14)

The Senior Trip to San Antonio is fully funded; no additional money is required. 

• Permission Slips: Due by Monday, May 11. 

  
  

• Luggage Drop: Must occur on Wednesday, May 13 (4:15 PM – 5:45 PM). 

  
  

• Departure: Students must arrive at the south side of MHS at 6:00 AM on May 14. 

  
  

• Note: Students not attending the trip are still required to report to school on May 14. 

  
  

⚖️ Graduation Eligibility Requirements

To participate in these activities and the commencement ceremony, students must meet the following: 

• Academic: Pass all classes to receive necessary credits. 

  
  

• Attendance: Maintain good attendance (no more than 8 absences per class). 

  
  

• Financial: All fees, fines, and class dues must be paid by May 22. 

  
  

• Conduct: Students must be in good standing (not in SAC/DAEP/Suspended) at the time of the Senior Trip.
