The Power of Showing Up: Attendance Matters
Dear Lobo Families,
Every school day counts! In Texas, state law requires students to attend at least 90% of the school year (measured by the semester) in order to receive credit or a final grade- and to avoid summer school for missed class time. More importantly, strong attendance helps your child succeed academically, build lasting relationships, and stay connected to all the opportunities our schools provide.
When students are present each day:
- They don’t miss valuable instruction.
- They are more likely to achieve at higher levels.
- They contribute to the overall success and strength of our district.
Rooted in Joy. Driven by Purpose. Focused on Excellence.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stacy Parker
